Junction is meant to be seen, heard and most importantly felt. This year, we’re taking Junction back to its roots to Espoo and creating a new world of hackathons inside Aalto University’s newly renovated main building, Dipoli.

Futurice and the Lean Service Creation lounge help Junction hackers take their ideas to the next level and turn them into solutions for problems worth solving. The Lean Service Creation methodology brings together lean startup, design thinking and agile development to help teams retain focus during the fast paced hacking weekend and bring the potential users into the heart of the service creation work. Reserve your spot to the workshop. It runs from 10am to 5pm

Did you know that is a major software house? In their Developer Space you can find a silent working area and some mentors helping you to solve hack your challenge. They might also have some cool hardware for you. If you forgot your mouse at home it might be a good idea to pay a visit here.

Junction is all about bringing people together around exciting technologies. We do this by shipping most talented individuals from all over the world and bringing in the partners with their challenges and technologies. Meeting area is where the talented participants meet with our partners and discuss about their future. Meetings are pre-booked before the event by the partners.

Junction Launchpad is all about connecting mentoring and resources from partners and venture capitalists with the motivated teams. The teams interested in continuing their Junction project or some other idea will apply to Launchpad. The list of applications is then shared with our mentors, partners and investors who can schedule meetings with the teams. Want to find out more? Visit for more details.
